The Docket is a private monitoring brief. It republishes information from the public docket at masscourts.org for a fixed set of cases, alongside plain-English summaries generated by AI. It is a read-only publication — there is nothing here to sign up for, submit, or buy.
Nothing, directly. The site has no user accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter, and no payment of any kind. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
Like nearly every website, the hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs when a page is requested — things like the requesting IP address, browser type, and the page fetched. Those logs are used for operating and securing the service and are governed by Vercel’s own privacy policy. The site’s operator does not combine them with any other data or use them to identify readers.
The names, filings, and events shown on this site come from the public record of the Massachusetts trial and appellate courts. Appearing here reflects appearing there; the site adds no non-public information about any person. If you believe something shown here misstates the public record, check the official docket at masscourts.org, which always controls.
Pages link out to masscourts.org and to news coverage of the monitored cases. Court documents are served as PDF copies from this site for convenience. Following an outbound link takes you to a site with its own practices, which this policy does not cover.
